simpletest via symbolic link

When simpletest is placed inside sites/all/modules, then everything is fine. But if simpletest is invoked via symbolic link, like:
cd sites/all/modules
ln -s /another/location/of/simpletest

then internal subtests (within each test suite) are not functional.
