This seems to happen on all tests:
scandir(sites/d6/files/simpletest534654) [function.scandir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory Warning simpletest.module 613 simpletest_clean_temporary_directory()
scandir() [function.scandir]: (errno 2): No such file or directory Warning simpletest.module 613 simpletest_clean_temporary_directory()
Invalid argument supplied for foreach() Warning simpletest.module 614 simpletest_clean_temporary_directory()
rmdir(sites/d6/files/simpletest534654) [function.rmdir]: No such file or directory Warning simpletest.module 626 simpletest_clean_temporary_directory()
This is on Windows XP SP3.

Comment #1
boombatower commentedCould you provide some more details. Possibly how you caused this to happen.
Comment #2
nancydruI just ran some tests. This happens on every test that runs. It might have something to do with you not using the system's files directory path -- there is no "sites/d6/files" directory. My system file directory is set to "files/d6"
Comment #3
nancydruI created a "sites/d6/files" directory and the problem went away. Changed the title.
Comment #4
boombatower commentedSounds like a problem with your configuration. The code uses
file_directory_path()Note: accidental cross post on attributes....but from reading code I don't think it is a bug...and it does use the system files setting.
Comment #5
boombatower commentedPerhaps related to: #335756: SimpleTest: $this->originalFileDirectory should be set before installation to ensure non-standard directories are picked up
If so please use dev tarball, or checkout of CVS.
Comment #6
nancydruYes, fixed in -dev.
