Hi. I actually try to learn using tests but now gathered a problem. A recent D6 installation gives am a correct admin/build/testing path with all test listed, but trying to run a test just always ends up on a white screen with the same url. This also happens at test of contributed modules, so it cannot depend on my learning process. This also happens with the 6.x-2.7 version not only the dev-branch

Any thoughts about.

add the following to the top of index.php

ini_set('display_errors', 1);

and see what shows up.

Hi, i didn't get very far with this. I get some but they appeared on every page so i think i does not depend on the simpletest module. but i gathered another detail. I tried to use the trace module for creating a trace of a test running, but with trace enabled, the test worked as described in the tutorials. So i cannot deliver a trace of a unsuccessful test that ends up in white screen. With trace module disabled everything is before just white.
Hmm?

hmmm...indeed, not sure what to tell you.

I will try to debug a bit more the next days. Actually with Trace module activated i am able to use SimpleTest ... and, well, that's what i am looking forward to do. I will write here more when i have some more informations for you. Thanks!

How much is your memory limit set to in php.ini? Simpletest (and quite a few other modules) gives me a white screen if it is not over 128M.

I am having the same problem.
It worked fine for me in drupal 6.12, but in 6.13 all I get is a white screen

Running any test gives me a white screen
Going to any subsequent page I have a drupal error message
No test cases found.

I think I may have figured this out.
It turns out a .test file had whitespace after closing php tag and that was causing the problem!
