I had this addon installed and it was not giving me the functionality i needed so I disabled it, then uninstalled it, then deleted the folder out of sites/all/modules.

Now when i try to submit something i get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function simplest_gmap_content_is_empty() in ((Path snipped for security)) .../sites/all/modules/cck/content.module on line 906

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok that was my fault. I deleted the add on but had left a custom field I made that used type simplest_gmap. Removed custom field and all is well.
