In my aggregation experiments I noticed that some aggregators have the option to either add or update a feed item with the same name coming from the same feed source.

Simplefeed is working well at www.blogotariat.com but I have to frequently remove duplicate items. I don't know why there are duplicate items. I guess if the author has edited after posting there will be another one.

there were former issues with duplicates and this is now addressed
