SimpleAds module needs funds

I spoke to Minnur about this module and here's the gig. Simple Ads is one of the only modules out there that will help you monetize your site, and Minnur is looking to be paid to help us do that that. Right now there is no other functioning module that allows one to have in-house advertising, and his position is that if you are going to be making money with this module, he should be paid for his time to develop a fully functioning version, and he forsees that work taking two weeks of his time to create a Drupal 7 version.

Minnur tried to raise funds before with a net capitalization of $50. Further he has recieved no offers of help developing the module. That's pretty lame considering that 6500 sites are using the module. If he collected $1 from each site using the module, it would cover the cost of developing a complete version of 7.x.2.x and put him well on the road to starting a D8 version.

I'm am looking for an advertising solution, but cannot lay out the all of the cash he needs to dedicate two weeks of full time coding. I support Drupal.org efforts annually because I use the platform, but this module, or one like it, needs to be funded for the good of the whole community.

If Minnur were to restart a fundraising drive, how many people would be willing to pay $100 towards this module's development? I'd be in for $200. Comment below to show your support and discuss further.
