Version 1.8 vs 2.x-dev

Hi

I was trying both versions to see if they fit my requirements, and I see that the 1.8 version, once we create a Taxonomy term , a new block is also created. This doesn't happen on the 2.x-dev right? First there is the need to create the taxonomy, and then create a "Advertisement block" and choose the term previously created?

Edit : I have changed the title, because I see more differences between these versions, and I'll try to understand which one is best suited for my case.

1 - Why the "field_ad_status" is not used on 2.x? on 2.x I can't unpublish an Ad. Only if it is part of a Campaign.

2 - Block Options like the number of Ads to show, and their order are also not present on 2.x. Is it on the roadmap? Or was intentionally lefted out?

Apart from this, leaning towards 2.x because it seems more flexible on the part of the Views that can be used to the blocks, and the daily statistics.
