Hello,
In the read me and on several posts it is mentioned that using a reverse proxy can negatively affect statistics. The reason is of course that the reverse proxy aggregates requests from visitors and returns cached content to improve response times and performance. To the webserver all requests come from the proxy not site visitors and thus the statistics methods in simple ads register only a single IP (user) and aggregate all statistics from that one user. In the documentation it is mentioned that you can register that indeed a reverse proxy is being used on the Drupal site and specify the IP range or bank of IPs that are being provided for the reverse proxy.
My question is, by doing so does this allow for simple ads to function as designed?
Can statistics be calculated accurately now that Drupal is made aware of the reverse proxy?

minnur commentedHi, I think the module should function properly.
I use ip_address() Drupal function to get user's ip addresses.
See https://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/includes%21bootstrap.inc/function/ip_a...
Thanks!
