Got this error when trying to install. Also tried it with the .zip file and got the shame message.

simple_reservation-8.x-1.x-dev.tar.gz does not contain any .info.yml files.

I am afraid the module is in a poor state of maintenance

I wish i had more time to work on it.....

If you pull from the 8.x.1-x-dev branch then you will see an info.yml file

and that the conversion to D8 is in a more more advance state.

If you submit issues and patches I will work on them.

Currently the D8-dev distribution is not a D8 version at all!
It is a D7 distribution!

If there is a D8 version in development it would be nice to mention where we could get it!

The following command will clone the repo.

git clone -b 8.x-1.x-dev http://git.drupal.org/project/simple_reservation.git

You're confused about how this whole thing is set up.

Please move your work to the 8.x-1.x branch (and delete the 8.x-1.x-dev branch!), which will automatically go into the 8.x-1.x-dev snapshot release.

... oh, and delete the 8.x-1.x-beta branch as well.

See http://cgit.drupalcode.org/simple_reservation — there should only be an 8.x-1.x branch for D8.
