I have setup Signup on two different websites. The first one was smooth and easy. This second one is giving me problems. It currently does not send out an email confirmation nor reminder like it is suppose to. I have enabled and done everything the module request, I have even researched the issue here but I can not find an answer.

Kimster commentedI have this problem too - I have three sites, email works fine on one of the sites but not the other two.
The only difference I beleive is that I asked my host to change ownership of .htaccess in the files directory - that fixed my problem with images not showing (maybe the host changed more than the one file).

dwwI have no idea what to tell you without more information about your servers, configuration, etc, etc. However, even with more info, I wouldn't really know what to say, other than: "Debug the problem and let me know if there's a signup bug". ;) Given that it works fine on some sites, I'm guessing it's not a signup bug at all.
To be brutally honest, I don't have the time/energy to do generic system administration support for anyone who happens to be using one of my Drupal modules. :( So, to be fair, I think this is the right status for this support request. There's not much I can do here -- you're on your own.
Sorry,
-Derek

Kimster commentedFair enough - I will add this incase it is helpul to anyone else - this is from my hosting company (streamline):
This issue is occuring because there is a missing fifth parameter in your mail script. This has always been a requirement of mail scripts on our shared hosting platform but recent updates to our Linux servers (from PHP4 to PHP5) has meant that this is now always required.
Comment #4
dww@Kimster: if that's true, it's a PHP bug, because the PHP documentation for mail() says the 5th parameter is optional. However, if that 5th parameter needs to be set to an empty string for some stupid reason, this is a problem that would have to be worked-around in Drupal core's drupal_mail() function, not signup.
Good luck,
-Derek

Kimster commentedIn file: common.inc
Line: 1937
Changed:
function drupal_mail($mailkey, $to, $subject, $body, $from = NULL, $headers = array()) {
To:
function drupal_mail($mailkey, $to, $subject, $body, $from = "mysite.com", $headers = array()) {

dwwYou should set your site's E-mail address: field to "mysite.com" then. See admin/settings/site-information. This is a required field, and is necessary for various outbound email messages to work.

makundi commentedOn Drupal 6 that I installed using Zacky tools installer, i can't find that line on common.inc in the includes folder
Comment #8
makundi commentedSolution found: I "discovered" Drupal 6 has stand-alone mail.inc. When I located the line mentioned by DWW (reply #6), drupal successfully sent mail.
