Hi,

new bug has appeared in v2.2. If member posts something like "E:\Programs\Test\VertrigoServ\www\catalogue\modules\cck\content.module", shoutbox module overlaps Content Block. Please take a look at attached screenshot. The problem is in Google Chrome (as well as in old IE), but not in Firefox or Opera.

How can this be fixed in the best way?

Not happening with default Garland. That is your theme - not shoutbox.

Would you please post in shoutbox this text message:

using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer and show me a screenshot?

That'll happen with any such content in the sidebar from any module. See attached. CSS can't decide to add newlines to a long string. What do you propose?

In version 2.1 a horizontal scrollbar in shoutbox block appeared when the string was too long, so shoutbox didn't overlapped Content block.
It would be nice if this behavour get in new version.

i have put a hint box on top of the shoutbox with the advise to my users to use only tiny urls - linking directly
to tinyurl.com. that saves at least the "not FF" users.

Alright I can probably add a overflow-x to the CSS. I'll try it out..

I don't really like using overflow-x - it makes getting to the admin links really annoying as well as hides every other message.

I'm open to other ideas..
