Hello folks,
Just posted over at http://drupal.org/project/views_slideshow_ddblock my experience with shoutbox together with views ddblock.
I thought i would share my trouble with you seeing that tracking down a problem can take a bit, especially if you tinker alot with your site.
This isnt strictly a bug report but an incompatibility report.
I will look into the code of both modules this weekend

What does "doesn't play well with" mean exactly?

I can't look into every module out there that might interact poorly with Shoutbox. If you turn up any information, or the maintainers of ddblock do, just let me know and I'll fix anything if needed.

Ok this is my fault for being a "little" vague on the subject.
Doesnt play well with means that it breaks the display of images in the main views: ddblock frame.
I dont know if you are familiar with the ddblock module but it uses several templates to display its data, eg one with thumbnails one without etc.
The thumbnails are displaying just not the the image itself plus the link that is generated when you click on next or prev or the image link takes you to the top of the page.
Btw i really like the shoutbox module..nice and sleek. If i can turn up something over the weekend i will post my findings here for you to investigate if you have the time to do so.

Sounds like a CSS issue. See what you can dig up. Get Firebug installed if you don't have it yet. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
