I have installed the shoutbox and enabled the block.
All I see there are 3 fields, one for nickname, one for the message and one for the website.
I think something might be wrong. I should not need to enter a nickname or url etc. if I am logged in, right?
It should get my username automatically. Do I miss something?

You can de-select the fields in the shoutbox admin settings :)

Administer » Site configuration » Shoutbox

Uncheck these 2 fields:

Show the name field for logged in users (Uncheck to hide the name field for logged in users. Name will then be the user name, so previous option will be useless.)

Show the url field (Check to allow users to enter an url.)
