The media module uses a [[{media}]] syntax to add various media into text field.
If the media module filter comes before the shortcode filter shortcodes don't work and vice versa the media module doesn't work.
Since the shortcode module already has an escaping functionality it is pretty easy to support the media module; this patch is against the latest dev. version.
The only bit I've add is this:
$escaped = FALSE;
if ((substr($c, 0, 3) == '[[{') && (substr($c, -3, 3) == '}]]')) {
$escaped = TRUE;
}
elseif ((substr($c, 0, 2) == '[[') && (substr($c, -2, 2) == ']]')) {
But the patch is rather large because my editor automatically removes trailing spaces.
