I have a client who needs the functionality of sheetnode for managing spreadsheet data along with the option of displaying the resulting data as a

I'm considering the options, the most likely option being to write a custom Views 'style' or to use the Views 'Sheetnode: Content' field and write a custom template which process the raw data.

I'm planning to contribute any work back into the project, which makes me wonder whether the better approach may not be the new Views 'style'.

has anyone got any suggestions, recommendations etc before I get stuck in?

The latest dev release (available 12 hours from now) allows sheetnodes to be viewed as HTML tables. To activate this, visit the sheetnode settings (admin/settings/sheetnode) and set the view mode to "HTML table".
