I'm passing dynamic Views information to each image title tag. It worked fine in Shadowbox 2. After upgrading, everything else is working fine except the title information isn't showing up and doesn't appear to be getting passed to the popup. Oddly enough the ONLY browser the titles do appear is in IE 7. It's not a CSS issue either. Any ideas?

EDIT: There's a little more to this, Shadowbox 2 worked in FF and Safari, titles and everything, but wasn't working in IE. I upgraded to 3 and now it's working in all browsers but the titles aren't working. It is odd that the titles are working only in IE 7. In viewing the source in other browsers, the 'title' information is not being passed to the link while the 'rel' information that I've specified is.

could be some sort of error in the way you are outputting your links. 6.x-4.1 will only work with Shadowbox 3.0.0 and higher. Can you please provide a page where I can see what is happening? I cannot reproduce this issue. If the title attribute is not showing in your link then it kind of indicates an issue with whatever module or code is outputting the links and not an issue with shadowbox. Shadowbox won't know what to use as the title if the title attribute is not in the source.

Here's what I'm currently working on.

Below is the code I'm using in the view .tpl file. I don't feel like it's an error in the code although I could be overlooking something. Like I said this code works fine in Shadowbox 2 but not in Shadowbox 3. It's not the Shadowbox library so it must be something to do with the module itself. I'd use Shadowbox 2 but there seems to be a lot of issues with IE.

if (!($view->field["field_work_web_link_url"]->render($row))):
if ($output):

print "<a rel='shadowbox[work_samples]' title='Client: " . $view->field["field_work_client_nid"]->render($row) . "  |  " . "Discipline: " . $view->field["field_work_discipline_nid"]->render($row) . $view->field["field_work_caption_value"]->render($row) ."' href='/".$output . "'>" . theme("imagecache", "thumbnail", $output) . "</a>";

endif;
endif;

Again, the really odd thing is that the titles work in IE 7, but not in any other browser. That I can't explain. Btw, I love this module, and is by far the best lightbox effect I've seen so far. I'd hate to go back to using Lightbox, because Shadowbox looks so much cleaner and professional.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, the 'title' information DOES appear to be getting passed correctly in the source code (just wasn't showing up in Firebug for some reason). Still not showing up in FF, Safari, or IE 8.

Are you sure that your fields do not contain any special characters? you may need to turn them into html entities, especially quotation marks.

My sincere apologies, turns out it was an error on my part. I overlooked a JQuery command that I had forgotten about that was essentially overwriting the "title" tags, since IE 7 is the worst browser next to IE 6, it was "overlooking" the command. The speedy assistance and response is much appreciated though.
