sorry but i found no documentation about it... i use session api, to prevent drupal to change visitor session id in each page load, so i can have some data associated to the visitior for a long time.

The idea is that once the visitor logs in or creates a new user, retrieve all that data... but its session id changes so i cannot know its previous id.

Maybe i could send the old id by url, but there should be a better way. Is it?

shame on me, i was filtering by user id too, the session id was unaltered all the time.
