If/When #1959276: UUID Services should return HTTP 200 when requested user doesn't exist lands perhaps Servies Client could switch off of it's own UUID implementation and use UUID's own services integration. Patch attached changes requests to suit UUID Services, patch in #1959276: UUID Services should return HTTP 200 when requested user doesn't exist required for UUID Services to play nicely.

mhrabovcin commentedThis is great idea, I'd like to wait until uuid module will get at least to beta version so their API will stabilize and I'd be happy to make switch and remove one module from Services Client.
