I don't know how much of my installation details to report. All the .info files in the services module have 6.x-0.13 set as the version, so I don't know where the updater is getting that from. I'm using Drupal 6.8, but the problem started seemingly randomly before I updated to 6.8. I have downloaded and installed the 6.x-0.13 a couple of times to be sure. Furthermore, drush reports that it needs to install the latest version "".
If it makes a difference, I also have the HEAD version of amfphp installed.
From my end, it seems like something is wonky with the "latest version" identifier on drupal.org, but since there are no support requests related to this that I could find, I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong. It's not really a problem, but I'd like to get rid of the red error message appearing on all the admin pages.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, please point me to the right forum if I'm barking up the wrong tree.
Thanks,
Ray

raimondious commentedThere was a custom module in the Services project whose version was 6.x-5, which made the updaters think the whole Services project was 6.x-5, which isn't 6.x-0.13, so it thought I needed a security update? I don't know the logic, but it's fixed now -- I just made those modules' versions match the rest of the services project.
