The project page currently says,

Currently all development is happening on github for the useful help of PR's. https://github.com/kylebrowning/services

There are quite a few commits in both 7.x-3.x and 8.x-4.x that are present on Drupal.org and missing on GitHub. That no longer seems to be the place for development.

Thanks for pointing this out. I updated the verbiage a bit to clarify that D7 definitely continues over here. Also thank you for noticing that there is some divergence with D8 between the 2 as well. I'll let Kyle chime in with his thoughts about the split.

Apparently d.o will be launching a GitLab instance someday, so eventually we'll be able to use PR's over here too!

Thanks, tyler.frankenstein, for cleaning that up. Thanks for maintaining the D7 branch too, and all the work you do on other D7 projects.
I'm very excited about the move to GitLab. Where are you getting news about it? All I have is https://www.drupal.org/drupalorg/blog/developer-tools-initiative-part-5-... and #3002827: [GitLab] Scheduling Phase 1 of our migration to GitLab.

Sorry. I Misread your comment to mean it was more imminent than it is.
By the way, you might want to delete your 8.x-4.x branch at https://github.com/signalpoint/services/tree/8.x-4.x. It has D7 code in it.

You're welcome Jacob, and thank you for helping us maintain this stuff! I went ahead and deleted my fork of services on GitHub, and will continue to utilize the repo over here instead.

I spotted a news post on the Drupal blog a few months back about the GitLab migration, and I believe its from the same links you posted above.
