Hide specific options of a select field for particular content type(s).
User Cases
A site's Resource section has two content types: 'Document' and 'Image'. They share a field called 'Resource Type' which has selectable options: 'Book', 'Report', 'Article', 'Photo', 'Chart', 'Illustration'.
This module enables the field to show the first three of these options in Document, and the last three in Image.
In a View of all resources 'Resource Type' can be show as one column of a table, as it's one field it can be sortable, and can also be used as a filter. If you use Apache Solr it can index the field and provide a 'Resource Type' facet block.
This pattern can be used for any content types that need to share a field but only some of the selectable options are appropriate for each content type.
