Added the select2 widget to a multi value list field and am able to select only one value. Please document how to get the multi value fields and remote data load to work. Thanks.

multi value not supported yet.
This feature in development.
Will be available in 7.x-2.0 version

Added support multi values. Just select "Number of values" on field configuration page.

Hello. I am new in Drupal patching. I found the Select2 jQuery plugin and i really liked it. After that i found your Drupal module and i would like to help you developing this module. I made my first patch. This handles correctly the max number of items.

As of today we have a stable release of the 7.x-2.x version. I this your issue should be addressed / resolved. I you consider the issue is still valid please reopen.
