Hello,
I have a problem I need some help with.

I am using the Secure Pages module to redirect certain pages (such as the login page and editing pages) to https. I'm having a problem with the way some of my urls are being rewritten when going from http to https.

For example, if my users are on an http page, and they click on a link to create a web page for the group they are in the link they are supposed to go to is:
http://example.com/node/add/webpage?gids[]=4
but editing pages are supposed to be secure so it gets rewritten to the https version and is supposed to be this:
https://example.com/node/add/webpage?gids[]=4

However, it ends up as:
https://example.com/node/add/webpage?gids=gids%255B0%255D%3D4
and the page doesn't work right because it doesn't get the gid it needs.

If the user is already on an https page, then everything works fine...
Any ideas on how to fix this or get around it?

Not sure the etiquette around merging issues, but this is a duplicate of http://drupal.org/node/861996 I'm having the exact same problem. Did you develop a work-around?

Square brackets are not valid characters in URLs. The best course is probably to file a bug report with the module that's not encoding the brackets within it's URLs.
