In order to get https pages to render without warnings, it's necessary for all elements on the page (including images) to be placed via https. I would like to suggest adding a module weight of -1 to the securepages.module standard. This will resolve issues where the base_path is not set early enough and imagecache (or other modules) generate "insecure" output for the browser.

Althouhgh it might be better for the module itself to fix this you can do this with: http://drupal.org/project/util
