Greetings,
I'm working on a Drupal site created by a previous developer that has Secure Pages enabled on the user log in page.
I've copied the live site and created a Dev site on my client's server but the issue is when I tried to log into the Dev site, I am getting redirected to the secure URL of the live site. The module is working correctly but I need to disable it on the Dev site (so as not to be re-directed to the live site log in) so I can log in.
I tried to removing the securepages module folder (again I can't log into the dev site), but that didn't work.
I looked at the database tables but couldn't find a table name that I thought would be associated with secure pages. If anyone knows how to uninstall the module via modifying the database (table name, etc.) I would appreciate any insight you could give me on this.
Thanks in advance.

scott859 commentedJust found the solution (in the readme file) - this is handled by adding:
$conf['securepages_enable'] = 0;
to settings.php
Thanks.

scott859 commentedOdd - I did at the above to settings.php but I'm still getting forwarded to the live site when attempting to access the /user page for log in. If anyone has any insight into a solution for this, I would appreciate it!
Thanks

mrpeanut commentedGo to your system table and find the securepages module and change its status to 0. You may have to clear your caches.

Thanks so much - that did it (just a note - I had to clear the cache after changing status to 0).
Thanks again.
