I'd like to see this, too, although I'm not using the current version on my 5.7 site.

Had a chance to sit down and throw together a patch based off of 5.x-1.6 that appears to allow it to run properly under Drupal 6... I haven't had a chance to test out too completely, but initial tinkering shows that it appears to work, atleast for my purposes.
