This mod is comething I really would like to use in my 4.6 install but currently the cvs version doesn't work.

I'm using 4.6.6.

The .install file doesn't work when you enable the module. I tried to manually create the tables but when I go into administer -> sections the page is just blank.

Is there any chance I can get this workig for 4.6.6.

This has been requested before.

And no, sections was never released for 4.6. If you can get me a patch against any revision in CVS, then please do so.
You will want to look at http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/sections/sect... (revision 1.6)

Anyone: please report back when you want to take this on you, else I will close this issue with a 'won't fix'.

downgrading the priority. If someone feels like getting a 4.6 out of the door, lea ve a msg here, or ping me in private. It should not be that hard.

Outdated and no more supported Drupal version. I'm not going to fix this.
