When I type for example "aaaaa" in my search field, I get a lot of results but there is no keyword "aaaaa" in my content.

Is it a problem with synonyms or schema in my solr core? Because I didn't change anything in the schema.xml

Thanks.

Check your "no result behavior" of your View.

Hello, it has nothing to do with the behavior of the view. These are the search results that are not good, because if I type "education", the search engine returns all the results that contain that word and it is perfect. However, if I type a random string like "aaabbb", the search engine will still return results (which do not contain that word) when it should not.

How did you verify that it is the Solr which does return these results?

I have an index with all my content indexed, associated with a solr server. Then I have my search form block in my search page (view display). So I'm sure that my results are from solr.

A view has an option to display all entities if there's no result from the search backend.

Otherwise enable search_api_solr_devel to see what's going on.

I enabled search_api_solr_devel but I don't know how to see what is wrong.

I looked for the option to display all entities if there's no results (in my view), but it is not my problem. Because when I type something like "zzzzz", not all results come out, but only a few.

For example, I have 266 items in my index and if I search for the string "zzzz", I have 60 results found, but none of them contain the string "zzzz", so why are they displaying?

I created another core and another index for testing, and the problem seems to come from my "Rendered HTML output" field.

I need to index this field because it is in the list of skipped fields.

See :

The following fields cannot be indexed since there is no type mapping for them:

Content Builder (type "field_item:gavias_content_builder")

How can I index this field without "Rendered HTML Output"?

dsim01’s picture

I fixed it with the "direct query" parse mode in my view.

"Direct"? Do you know what you're doing?

dsim01’s picture

I'm not sure, but since I set this mode, my search works good.
