Hi,
when i index my content drupal displays the message:
Notice: Undefined variable: fulltext in search_api_et_fulltext_get()
The nodes get indexed but only the title of the nodes original language is in the index. not the translated titles.
i use entity translation (7.x-1.0-alpha1) with title (7.x-1.0-alpha2) for multilingual titles,
search api (7.x-1.0) and a solr index with search api solr (7.x-1.0-rc1).
Help would much be appreciated, thanks, elog

thanks for the bug report.

The notice may be by a small change in the dev-branch of the module. It should have been "cosmetic" only, anyway.
I couldn't replicate the error anyhow, i didn'T get any such notice on indexing a node index using the fulltext field - what php.ini setting do you use in regard to handling undeclared variables (not sure whether you can set that in php.ini in any way, but i'm curious).

Hm, what do you mean by this?
Are you searching for a keyword that occurs (only) in a translated title.module field and the search on the fulltext (not title!) search field didn't return the result with that occurrence? Or are you expecting the title field with its translations to be available as a dedicated field? That's not possible with the current version of this module (in this case see README.txt):
Translated titles/fields are only indexed as part of the fulltext search field, which feeds to the index a node rendering for each translation/language in search_index view mode (or default/full view mode if search_index view mode is not explicitly configured).
cheers,
daniel

e_log commentedThanks for the reply,
i will try to clarify my problem. i only have one field to index: (except "item language" witch is obligatory)
Multilingual full text (all languages via entity translation) and i use fulltext as type.
no data alterations and no preprocessors are in use.
only the original title is index and not the translations that where added later on.
e.g. i have a node with the title Deutschland and i added a translated title with entity translation Germany.
only deutschland is in the index and not germany.
This happens also for nodes that are german and have a title translated to english. only the title in the nodes original language is indexed.
EDIT: the node with the name Deutschland in the original laguage (German) and the translated title Germany (in English) is indexed.
if i search for Germany the node is not listed in the results if i search for Deutschland the node is listed but with the English title Germany. (if user language is set to English).

e_log commentedThe notice is gone with the latest update from entity translation.
I will close this issue. Indexing of multilingual content is still not possible for me (its done with custom code now) but the notice is unrelated to that issue. The indexing problem is caused by drupal_render() (line 53 search_api_et.module), manual indexing doesnt through an error but
drush sapi-idoes. "html header already send..." (sorry, that is from memory).
