I've been searching through issues and documentation for a solution but haven't quite found one yet for my problem.
I need my view to filter out items where text is not given for a specific field (field_idi_body). I read in the documentation that "field <> NULL" should apply the condition that the result must not have a null entry for the field. In practice when setting this condition via a views filter it does not work. Would setting this value via code work? I think the views filter expects a string and won't work on an empty "contains" or "does not contain" parameter.
I am left with the only option to create a custom field in the search index to state basically 'field_idi_body_with_content = true/false'. Is there another solution that I'm missing or have I found a bug?
I'm using a solr search engine.
