When using both facets and a view with exposed filter for a certain field (not a fulltext search), anything entered into that exposed filter will not be reflected in the "Current search" block. In other words, it still says "[all items]" with no added facets. Thinking about it, in my case I might be able to use a fulltext search restricted to the appropriate field, but I figured you might want to know about this bug anyway!

Sorry if this has already been reported...many of the ticket titles reflect internal module behavior which I don't know well enough to understand.

This is actually not a bug per se, but a feature request. The Current Search block is provided by the Facet API, so it's natural that it only reflects filters set by facets, not by other means. I don't know how hard it would be to change this behaviour, would have to consult with Chris Pliakas, probably.
