Hello,

Great project, I really love the search api.
Yet I have 2 questions I hope someone can help me with.
Probably it's right in front of me but I can't figure out how to display images with views.
Here's my problem:
I created a new view based on the search api with a couple of fields one of the fields is to display an image in my view.
Picture » The image file.: URL
My problem is only the url is showing, I can't make an image out of it.
Can someone tell me how I can do this?

Second question is about the facets. I have made facets out of my taxonomy. When I look at my facets, taxonomy terms with more than one word get split in two facet-items and I don't want that.
Also capital letters become small and spaces disappear. I think it is a configuration, but I really can't find where to configure it.

Thanks in advance!

This is currently not possible, but hopefully I'll get to fixing this soon. See #1018384: Fix views field names to not contain colons.

The other problem is probably caused by you indexing the taxonomy names as type "Fulltext" instead of "String". Fulltext fields will be tokenized and converted to lower case by preprocessors and/or search backends. Use string fields for filtering and for facets. (If you also want to search the taxonomy terms in a fulltext search, use the "Aggregated fulltext fields" data alteration to create a new, additional fulltext fields with all taxonomy term names.)
However, there's also an issue currently open that would improve this use case by letting you index the taxonomy term directly, filtering on the tid but displaying the label (i.e., the term name): #1012878: Add a way to index an entity directly.

I hope this answers both of your questions (even though one answer is sadly negative at the moment). Otherwise, please re-open and ask on, or ask questions in the linked issues.

Hi drunken monkey,
I got the taxonomy terms working now. Great!

I'll subscibe to the issue with the field names. If you can fix that one I think you have build one of the best modules for Drupal.
