How can I use this module to search and replace content not only in nodes, but also in comments?

Hmm, the module doesn't currently search through the comments table in the database. But that's an interesting feature request. I'll keep it in mind and look at the possibility of adding it to a future release. Thanks!

Sorry I can't help you right away, though. If you're comfortable with PHP, you could try modifying the module to add search to the comments table. Let us know how it goes and consider submitting a patch!

Ditto. I realized some expressions were not replaced in my forums and found out it was because they were inside comments node. This feature would be really nice.
