Much like Views used to provide Views data/plugins on behalf of Core modules in D7, we should introduce Stat Data plugins on behalf of Core modules here (for example, uid for the User module, nid for the Node module, etc. Would be good to compile a master list of data by module as a place to start. Depending on the number, we'd also want to turn this into a meta and create separate issues for each...
