Enabling both rules-6.x-1.1 and features-6.x-1.0-beta5 results in a white screen of death.

I was unable to enable the latest stable version of the features module when rules 6.x-1.1 was enabled without receiving the white screen of death.

I disabled features by updating the system table, and received the following message on my next page load:

warning: require_once(sites/all/modules/rules/rules/rules.export.inc) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in .../my-site/modules/features/features.module on line 292.

It looks to me that rules is telling the features module to require a file that is not included in the 6.x-1.1 distribution (see hook_features_api() in rules.module). Both modules can be run side by side when rules_features_api() is removed from rules.module.
