I have an error when attempting to use RPX Sign In.
In the RPX Realm field there is a string which includes my domain in this form:
my-domain.rpxnow.com
which does not match what is on the rpxnow.com site for my domain
then the RPX Admin URL is in the form:
https://rpxnow.com/relying_parties/my-domain/stats
But neither of the above fields can be changed or even copied, only viewed. The only editable field is the RPX API Key, which already matches the rpxnow.com website info.

nrambeck commentedThanks for the report. I haven't come across this problem yet, although I have had another problem with the automatic configuration. If I have a site already setup for RPX, then the configuration callback works perfectly for me. However, it doesn't work if the site has not been setup beforehand.
The realm and admin url fields are disabled because they are supposed to be returned from a callback to the RPXNow.com site. However things don't seem to be working consistently. I am working with the guys at JanRain to figure out the problem.

turadg commentedI ran into the problem with the lookup not working on one of my machines. It works okay on my dev box where I have drush and have tested the call. On my external server, it doesn't seem to be returning values because the admin fields never fill up.
I'm really looking forward to this module working soundly. :)
nrambeck commentedI've made a small change to allow the API Key to be entered manually in the settings form from the very beginning. I also, added some debug information that testers can paste into their reports on the issue queue.
I have not been able to duplicate the issue of the RPX servers returning either bad Realm and AdminUrl variables or none at all. If this is still a problem, please post this debug information after attempting to update your settings.

ajay.kwal commentedI am still having issue . lookup_rp doesn't return anything . I have proper api key entered manually.
--- Found the problem . I didn't have openssl installed and enabled. After enabling it , works like charm.

robbt commentedI too am having this problem. I'm not sure how to get debug information. I just get the error authentication failed for some unknown reason every time I login with RPX onto the drupal site, although the RPX site seems to think that the login was successful.
job.atul commentedThe RPX module requires two-way communication between your Drupal site and the RPX servers. That being the case, the RPX sign-in process will only work if your Drupal site is actually publicly online.

Remon commentedI think the solution is right here #582352: Use $_POST['token'] not $_GET['token']
nrambeck commentedI believe rgeorgy is correct. A change was made to the RPX API that broke our original module code for new RPX accounts. The latest code changes should resolve the issue.

Ofer Morag commentedHi,
Still receiving message, "RPX Authentication failed for some unknown reason."

nrambeck commentedOfer, That error message is only found in the beta1 version. Please test the dev version to see if you still have any issues.
