$commands[] = array('selector' => '.messages');
When I change the 'selector' from '.messages', round corners are no longer implemented.
I changed '.messages' to '.roundo' and then made sure there was a block with that class, but the module did not implement rounded corners.
What am I missing? Can I not choose any selector I want?

I'm working with a selector class ".rounded" and it works fine.
There must be a different problem in your situation, maybe you have already found out.
Possibly you just have to clear the cache after the selector class name change.
