If you have ever worked with a complex mobile navigation structure, it would be wiser to allow any block level element to be used in the menu. For example a minipanel that has a search, login, and other options available to the user.

Just a thought. Thanks for the contribution.

The responsive-nav.js looks for a DIV tag called #nav and UL/LI tags. Until it changes that paradigm, I don't see how we can apply it more broadly.

From the site http://responsive-nav.com/:

Library Options:

var navigation = responsiveNav("#nav", { // Selector: The ID of the wrapper
  animate: true, // Boolean: Use CSS3 transitions, true or false
  transition: 400, // Integer: Speed of the transition, in milliseconds
  label: "Menu", // String: Label for the navigation toggle
  insert: "after", // String: Insert the toggle before or after the navigation
  customToggle: "", // Selector: Specify the ID of a custom toggle
  openPos: "relative", // String: Position of the opened nav, relative or static
  jsClass: "js", // String: 'JS enabled' class which is added to <html> el
  init: function(){}, // Function: Init callback
  open: function(){}, // Function: Open callback
  close: function(){} // Function: Close callback
});

Construct a plain HTML example using the JS library and some block level elements. If you can get it to work, I'll implement it.

Sure thing.
