Infinite redirect loop caused if anonymous user doesn't have "access content" permission

Steps to reproduce:

• Install Require Login
• Create a node of any type
• Remove the permission "View published content" (access content) from the anonymous role
• Navigate to the previously created node as an anonymous user

I tried to create a patch for this but I wasn't able to fix the issue in the code. The problem can be mitigated by re-assigning the permission to the anonymous role but this is still a potential issue for sites whose content is intended to be fully restricted.
