After Path aliases have been converted to revisionable entities in Drupal 8.8.0,
Normalizer-denormalizer Drupal\replication\Normalizer\ContentEntityNormalizer started being applied to "path_alias" entities, as a result of which path aliases started being duplicated as original path_alias has "path" to entity with incorrect entity ID.

Reproduced in Drupal 8.8.x
