Rendering option for children nodes of type Martial Artist:

I like the idea of the "Rendering option for children nodes of type Martial Artist"
But it doesn't seem to do anything different no matter what I pick.
I have a view that calls the node title, image, birth, death, etc. But when I pick that in the dropdown in Advanced settings it still just pulls the node title.
I flushed all the caches, is there anything I'm missing?
