Kudos to all maintainers for a very promising module!
When I try to disable Relation (ui or Drush), I can't disable the 'Relation Endpoints Field'. In modules admin ui, it reads:
Helper module for Relation. Defines endpoints field (not usable except by relation).
Required by: Drupal (Field type(s) in use - see Field list), ...
Any suggestion
FYI - my use case is using Relation to add paragraph numbers (references) to instances of taxonomy terms. I.e. when content is tagged with a term, provide references that are specific to that content.

janchojnacki commentedGot the same issue.
Uninstall the rest Relations modules, Run cron and then you will be able to disable and uninstall 'Relation Endpoints Field
Comment #2
fenda commentedSame issue here. Running cron did not fix this.
bendrupal commentedSame for me. I needed to remove the 'Relation Endpoints Field' due to wanting to uninstall Relation (rc2) and install the dev version. I need this to get the fix for http://drupal.org/node/1483598. Now I'm stuck waiting for this fix :-)

carl.ben commentedRunning cron didn't fix the problem on my installation. Had to manually delete the endpoint fields from field_config and field_config_instance tables in MAMP.

dalanglois commentedediting the database worked for me, as cron didn't...
thanks!

burt.lo commentedJust a note for supporting the solution in #6: the cron run didn't work for me, and I wasn't sure which rows to delete in the "field_config" table, but this seems to have worked...
I found the rows where "type = 'entityreference'" and jotted down those fieldnames, then I deleted those rows, Finally, in the field_config_instance table, I deleted the rows where the field_name matched the fieldname values that I jotted down.

HFlame7 commentedThis error still occurs when trying to disable it as of 7.x-1.0-rc3.
#1 worked for me. Thanks!

chx commentedI know I wrote this up and there is a text for in the repo. So no need to reopen.
