Registration Settings in Views not respecting "exclude from display"

I have created a view which include fields from a Registration Settings entity.

I am using a math expression to compute the number of remaining slots for display so I need to include the spaces used and available fields. However, when I set these two fields to "exclude from display" they are still appearing in the view output.
