I've set up a content type with an attached Registration field and configured it so that it would show the Registration Form.
No additional fields were added to the registration type.
I've checked 'authenticated user' as the role able to use this registration and have also tried it by setting the permissions manually (administer/view/create/edit/delete own).
Registration works fine, and upon registration I am redirected to the same page which now has an "Edit" action tab to remove the registration.
However, once I reload the event page as an authenticated user, that tab to remove the registration disappears, and no other way to cancel the registration is available on the node.
The reloaded page will show all the content that's normally present, omitting everything related to registration.
Am I doing something wrong? I would just like my users to be able to retract their event sign-ups.

Countzero commentedSame problem here.

marcmueller commentedHave you tried /registration/REGID/delete this is where users can delete their registrations. Did you give your authetificated user the permissions to cancel their own registrations?

Countzero commentedYes and yes : the whole thing is configured properly, to the point where, as described by the OP, the proper tab appears when the registration is first created and disappears after the first page reload.

peter.morlion commentedSame problem. A user can register, all is well. The page to unregister is available, by which I mean, the user has access rights to this page. But there is no link to this page (you can navigate to it by entering the correct url in the browser).

edward.peters commentedA user can view their registration and there is an edit tab, and at the bottom of the edit form there is a delete button. Doesn't this do it?

mxlav commentedI am also looking into this problem....in registration.forms.inc @ line 144
$registration->registration_id is NULL, therefor failing the if statement...
