Hello,

We are using Entity Registration for our free Registrations and Commerce Registration for our paid registrations. Both of which serve events that should disable/close registration on a particular date. None are working. Cron is running every hour.

We are currently forced to go into every event and manually uncheck the Enable checkbox in the registration settings.

I thought we could at least in the mean time setup a VBO with the ability to bulk edit the Enable/Disable box but that option is not available in VBO and not clearly available in Rules either.

So this is a real issue at the moment.

Actually, it works.

Try to set permissions: who have
Administer registration types
Administer registration
Event: Administer settings

it will not respect the registration close date setting.

Maybe by design or missed setting.

Nope, it still doesn't work. Those settings were all checked originally, minus Event:Administer Settings which I don't see anywhere but the content managers have full access to edit all registration settings and the create/edit the node its attached to. I've (user1) also tried to set a close date, waited for cron to run, yet it still didn't close.

I was having this problem too but I was using registration_date 1.0alpha2. When disabled it things went back to working. I did have to clear the caches.

Hello edhell,

I am using Entity Registration with Commerce Registration, and the open/closed fields are located in the registration that is attached the the product, and I am not using the registration date module... unless its using it as a submod

This still doesn't work. But I've instead setup a field in the Product entity called Register By and configured a rule to disable the product when the date has passed.
