It says:

A typical set-up for a server with 16GB RAM, using maximum ~80% of memory, evicting least recently used keys:

maxmemory 12500mb
maxmemory-policy volatile-lfu

There is a mismatch between the text and the example config.
It should either say "evicting least frequently used keys" or be volatile-lru.

lfu generally is recommend per earlier paragraphs. feel free to update the wording, also happy to update it completely, I think the 16GB/80% stuff is pretty irrelevant, it depends on a lot of factor such as this being a dedicated redis server or not. I'd trim the whole thing down to something like "Example configuration with xy max memory and recommend eviction policy".
