Can I use Range Field with search api and Search API ranges?
I tried to use it, but unsuccessful.
Can I use range as min and max in search api slider?

For example:
I made drupal commerce shop where goods have field "Age". This field used to search for products by age. Now I am forced to use "Age" field as taxonomy term reference and I am forced to check a lot of checkboxes. (for example product have age period from 3 to 25 year).
If range field is supported search api I will use range field instead of taxonomy term reference and use only from age and to age value.

I guess this one has been fixed (at least partially) in #1872194: Add support for Search API
