I noticed there's a recurring glitch on Armchair Arcade when doing multiple
quotes, and sometimes even single quotes in comments (the firstname
lastname=quote syntax), where it will ignore the
command and just
display it as if the person writing the comment was the one who said it. It
looks correct in the preview, but does not display properly when live on the
site after hitting save.
Ah, I see how the glitch is activated. If there's a carriage return in the
quote - regardless of one or more people you're quoting - it ends the quote
prior to the first break. Meaning this:
[firstname lastname=quote]blah blah
Xyz xyz
Display as:
blah blah
and displays Xyz xyz as if YOU were the one who wrote it.
If you do this:
[firstname lastname=quote]blah blah
Xyz xyz
It will then display it as this:
Blah blah
Xyz xyz
correctly.
So it's a minor bug, but a bad bug.

Zen commentedThe mark-up in your post seems to have been filtered out ... In any case, if I understand you right, the content of your comment is being displayed inline with the quote. I'd suggest that this is a theme-related issue which overrides the quote module's CSS at some point.
This module displays the quote within a DIV which is by default, a block element.
Hoep this helps.
