I installed Quote module on a fresh Drupal 7.x-dev setup with latest dev of advanced forum. Everything works fine except that when I quote on a reply, the formatting is not showing up, it only shows the markup instead (e.g. [quote]quote content here....[/quote]). I looked around and it looks like nobody here has this problem yet. Can you enlighten me what I might have done wrong? Thank you!

I haven't used 7.x but in 6.x you have to add it to the filters in the input format you're using. I'd check there.

Thank you Michelle. I think you are right. Look like the filter is missing. Can you elaborate a little bit more on how you "add it to the filters"? I only find three filters in my text format (full html, filtered html and plain text). Do I need to create one myself? If so what should I put in it? Thanks a lot.

In D6, when you edit the input format (I think that's text format now) there is a checkbox to check the quote module's filter. I haven't used it in D7 so that's all the more I know, sorry.

Thanks. It looks like there is no such "quote filter" in D7. Can anyone else shed some light on this?

Edit: Ok. I figured it out. It is listed in the "enabled filters" group when I edit the stock text format (e.g. "full html"). Thanks a lot for the advice.
