On the 5.x branch, I've now ran into three issues having to do with the global quiz form settings (e.g. #2588777: PDOException when setting quiz form settings if passfail is disabled., #2509232: General error: 1364 Field 'pass_rate' doesn't have a default value: INSERT INTO {quiz_node_properties}, and #2579345: Quiz creation as non-admin-user with disabled "set defaults" when defaults are set).

Some test coverage is a good idea, but there are a lot of options... For example,

1. Avoid the possibility of no defaults entirely by setting systemwide defaults upon installation (but what about user default?)
2. One test that sets defaults and creates a quiz
3. Adding setting of defaults to all existing tests
...

What are your thoughts? Admittedly I haven't looked at the existing tests too much yet.

With D7 approaching EOL soon I've started the process of triaging the D7 queue here. Since there hasn't been any movement on this going to close out.
